2024/25 Season
NEXT MEETING
Monday January 6th 2025
Tim Reynolds: 'Making an Impression'. Long-time BPC club member Tim will be guiding us in the making of abstract and impressionist images, with techniques such as Intentional Camera Movement ICM.
Bakewell Photo Club was formed in September 1941 and continues its reputation for warmly welcoming photographers of all ages and abilities. Whether you use a phone, a DSLR or anything in between, we provide a friendly and supportive community for sharing images and learning from others, whether they be experienced lecturers or fellow club members.
We do this through our programme of lectures, workshops and competitions, details of which can be found in our Programme. We are particularly looking to appeal to social media photographers who want to learn more about the art of photography.
We run a Public Facebook Group to facilitate sharing of images and photography topics - search for Bakewell Photo Club.
We meet in the Friends Meeting House in Bakewell roughly every fortnight from September to April. Please see the 'Join Us and Visit Us' tab on this website for location details.
We will however use Zoom to access some speakers who may be too far away to travel to us, but these will be clearly identified in the Programme.
Please use our 'Contact Us' facility if you have any questions, and you can view samples of our images by clicking the 'Images' tab.
We hope to see you soon.
